The event is the first of it's kind held in the community
Food fans and those with a culinary curiosity are invited to attend Greenwich’s first-ever Good Food in Greenwich event.
Food stalls, demonstrations, and live music will feature at the free event, which is being held on December 11th from 4pm to 7pm at West Greenwich House (141 Greenwich High Road,
The event aims to make Greenwich a fairer, healthier and more sustainable place to buy, cook, grow and eat with the event seen as a chance to swap loads of ideas about what 'good food' is.
The event, which is being organised by Greenwich Co-operative Development Agency and Royal Borough of Greenwich Public Health is an excellent chance to mingle and lap up the atmosphere and children’s activities will also be held making it ideal for families.
Other organisations involved are the University of Greenwich, Greenwich Community College, Sustain, Charlton Athletic Community Trust, Drings the Butcher, Fareshare, Hadlow College, Keats Organic, Trust Thamesmead, Visit Greenwich and several schools and voluntary groups from around the community.
