Sticks'n'Sushi, the Danish-Japanese restaurant group is to open in Greenwich, its third opening after Wimbledon and Covent Garden
The restaurant will occupy the listed building on the corner of Nelson Road and King William Walk, one of the prime locations in Greenwich, from January 2015.
The restaurant will have 90 covers over the ground floor, with understated Scandinavian design. The emphasis on the menu at Greenwich will be on high-quality sushi - but those not so keen on fish, there will be a selection of dishes grilled to order, such as chicken, pork, beef, lamb and vegetable yakitori.
There will be two menus that guests can choose from: a la carte will feature old recipes and traditional dishes with a twist; and a sharing plates menu, allowing diners to try lots of different dishes with friends.
Cocktails will also play a significant role at Sticks'n'Sushi, the bar serving a large selection of Danish and Japanese spirits.
Founded 20 years ago, and now one of the most popular restaurant groups in Copenhagen, Sticks'n'Sushi has created a unique combination of Danish and Japanese cuisine in their restaurants, giving guests good value, high-quality food in an urban, understated, and relaxed environment.
Greenwich Hospital said: "We are delighted to welcome Sticks'n'Sushi to the area where we are sure they will be a very well received addition to the community."
