Proposals for the redevelopment will be presented
Enderby Isle and Enderby Riverside are holding two public exhibitions on Tuesday 16th and Wednesday 17th December to present emerging proposals for the redevelopment of Enderby Wharf North.
The forthcoming public exhibition, held at Sherard Hall, relates to emerging proposals for the northern part of the Enderby Wharf site which has been reconsidered in response to legislative changes to the cruise industry which will be in place in 2015.
The delivery of an international cruise liner terminal remains a fundamental element of the regeneration of the Enderby Wharf site and reassessment of the northern part of the site has taken place in order to provide an enhanced terminal facility along with a skills and training academy and residential accommodation.
There has also been an increased provision of public realm and open space including the creation of a riverside park and viewing deck.
The wider site was granted planning permission in 2012 for 770 residential units and the provision of an international cruise liner terminal. Barratt London have begun the construction of the residential element with the first apartments scheduled to be occupied mid-2015.
Prior to the submission of a planning application, bptw paternship are holding an event where the emerging proposals will be available to see and members of their team will be available to answer questions and to discuss comments.
